The record, at the level you choose

Core is the content desk for the portfolio. The agent reads each venture at five levels of detail, from a single purpose up through every leaf. The first writing it does is Eligibl: copy, a resource block, and the newsletter, filed to the Vector Labs writing API as drafts.

What the agent can see

Raising the level adds passages. Lowering it hides them. A question is answered only from the passages in view, so a coarse level cannot smuggle in a leaf.

  1. L1 Vector Labs. Vector Labs cultivates opportunities and builds meaningful software. Eligibl, WalletKing, and Caldera are the fruit. Vector Core is internal infrastructure, not a fourth product.
  2. L1 Eligibl. Eligibl is the venture. Make assistance programs easier to discover, understand, and access.
  3. L2 Stage. Validation and pilot development A centralized discovery platform for federal, state, and local assistance programs, aiming to become a source government and community partners will help validate and distribute.
  4. L2 First 30 days. Identify five Charlotte-area contacts and conduct outreach
  5. L2 First 30 days. Three discovery conversations and one potential institutional champion
  6. L2 60 days. Establish a credible local pilot opportunity
  7. L2 Q4 2026. Validate demand and develop Charlotte relationships
  8. L2 Q1 2027. Progress toward a local pilot and resident testing
  9. L2 Six months. Establish at least two genuine institutional champions
  10. L2 Q2 2027. Evaluate pilot outcomes and expansion opportunities
  11. L3 Soil. The problem. Assistance programs are scattered across organizations, websites, departments, and eligibility rules. People who need help often do not know what exists or where to start.
  12. L3 Roots. What can hold a pilot up. Local trust is the scarce resource. Software is not.
  13. L3 Trunk. The product. Eligibl is a discovery platform for federal, state, and local assistance. The long-term ambition is a trusted source that government and community partners help validate and distribute.
  14. L3 Branches. Capabilities. What the product has to be able to do before a pilot is credible.
  15. L3 Leaves. Experiments underway. Charlotte is the ground. Conversations come before features.
  16. L3 Fruit. The outcome we want. Residents find assistance they might otherwise miss. Government partners get a better way to connect people with programs that already exist.
  17. L3 Hypothesis. The five Charlotte names are a starting list
  18. L3 Hypothesis. A local pilot is the next proof, not a national product

A screening is not a decision

What eligibl.org already says, and what Vector Labs still has to earn in Charlotte.

This week

eligibl.org describes Eligibl as a free eligibility screener for federal and state aid: food, housing, healthcare, and cash assistance, across all 50 states and DC. The site says the careful part out loud. A screening is not a decision. No Social Security number is required. The organizational work in front of that site is local. The first calls are Mecklenburg County Community Resource Centers, including the Valerie C. Woodard Center, the Ella B. Scarborough Center, Just1Call, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, and United Way / NC 211. They are outreach targets. None of them is a confirmed partner. A meeting is not a champion. A champion is someone who will help carry a pilot. Vector Labs is not treating the public site as proof that the pilot exists. The six-month aim is two genuine institutional champions and a Charlotte pilot worth evaluating. Expansion is a question for after there are outcomes. This note does not invent those outcomes.
